Interest for cooperation between Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb and Faculty of Management, University of Primorska, Koper, Slovenia has developed since 2010, heading in the direction of joint research on the topic of innovation. Researchers from this project have been participating together on the project “The determinants of Innovation Intensity: Cross Country Analysis (DINOCCA)” within the “Support for transnational access to official microdata FP7” programme of the EU's project “Data Without Boundaries” (grant agreement n° 262608). During the project, the cooperation between post-doctoral and doctoral candidates of both research teams will be enabled, and the already started cooperation will continue on the mentioned project. The complementarity of the research teams is evidenced by the already expressed interest in collaborating on the mentioned DINOCCA project, and through specializations for particular areas of the project. The Slovenian research team is specialized in innovation in the field of education, and the Croatian research team in the field of digital transformation and management simulation games. By its topic, the project builds on the CQF (Croatian Qualifications Framework) project – Excellence and efficiency in higher education in the field of economics _E4 (UP.03.1.1.03.0071), where professor Mirjana Pejić Bach, PhD, is an associate.
The Croatian team consists of project manager professor Mirjana Pejić Bach, PhD and associates: Jovana Zoroja, PhD, Božidar Jaković, PhD, Mario Spremić, PhD, and Tamara Ćurlin, bacc.oec.
The Slovenian team consists of project manager Maja Meško PhD, and associates: Tin Pofuk, mag.oecc., and Uroš Godnov, PhD.
