With this project, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb will contribute to the development of international cooperation, as one of the most important strategic determinants of the Faculty, as well as the University of Zagreb. The project will result in published papers in publications indexed in WoS and Scopus (Q1 and Q2) databases. Doctoral candidate from the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb (Tamara Ćurlin), whose topic of research is the impact of technology on competitiveness is going to participate in the project, which is going to directly affect the increased active participation and mobility of the young doctoral researchers. Further cooperation of the research team members is envisioned through the future submission of European Union projects, as well as through the organization of joint workshops, seminars and participation in scientific international conferences.
Through the usage of MSIM games, as an innovative approach to learning, the project is going to contribute to the training for enhancing teaching processes and encouraging students to carry out specific project tasks using information and communication technology, interdisciplinarity is going to be ensured through the involvement of associates from the Croatian and Slovenian institutions, and the infrastructure missing from the Croatian information infrastructure of science and education is going to be provided through the collaboration platform for teachers and students in the field of MSIM games. It is expected that the implementation of the project will encourage greater use of MSIM games at programs of Croatian and Slovenian universities, and through lifelong learning. It is also expected that there will be an increase of interest in this issue by senior students, as well as production of a greater number of graduate and postgraduate specialist thesis.
